Episode 14 - "Family Affair"

Hey OTH fans. So we got ourselves another episode. Second one since the winter hiatus, and again, it was very good. Overall highlight of this episode for me, Brooke and Julian beginning to patch things up. I think that if Brooke is not going to end up with Mouth, then she most definitely should be with Julian. He is such a good guy, and really does love her. As for the new guy Alexander, I'm not too fond of him. I think he needs to stop the innocent flirting with Brooke, and also, he should have not delivered that box to Julian. Sorry dude, your response to Victoria should have been, "I'm not getting involved." But, Victoria of course did have her daughter's best interest in heart. By him delivering the box to Julian, it forced Julian to go and confront Brooke, which got the ball rolling for them to start talking again. Victoria is awesome!! Just the scene with her talking about severing heads with Brooke has hilarious. And she is trying to help get Mili back on track. I don't know when she turned into the shows "Mother Theresa," but at least she somewhat maintains her disdain for humans by saying, "I am not the friend type." As for Mili, I really think I'm just done with her. Seriously, you screwed yourself up. You chose coke over Mouth, and you can't make a statement like, "I missed him when he was gone." Guess what: you're the reason he left. I think she should just check into rehab, and stay there long enough for Mouth and Lauren to hook up, because we all know Skills won't be back anytime soon (he is too busy off stealing people's identities). Plus, Lauren is way cooler and prettier than Mili. Funniest Actress Dundee Award goes to -Haley!! Lets see: making enough noise to wake the neighbors in order to wake up Taylor and David, "morning slut, you can go now," stealing all the pots and pans, throwing out the potatoes, spoiling her appetite before dinner, setting the table with plastic-ware, and topping it all off with a water fight with her two sisters. I definitely understand Haley's point about the whole Taylor-David-Quinn thing, but on the other hand, it really isn't effecting her, and if Quinn and David are moving on and happy, I say just leave it at that. I did find the last scene with Quinn, Taylor, and Haley to be quite funny. Haley's last request was great!! And the Funniest Actor Dundee Award goes to Jamie, for his one line of "I got $5 on my Mom." Dude, totally agree, you Mom would have easily killed Taylor if Nathan did not intervene. Finally, as for this whole movie thing, as long as it brings Julian and Brooke together, it gets an A+ from me. I enjoyed the scene between Julian and his Dad. I also liked that Julian punched out that jerk actor. That dude seriously needed to go ASAP. Well, another great episode. I'm hoping that Julian and Brooke patch things up, Mouth and Lauren hook up, Clay and Quinn stay together, and Haley and Nathan continue to be awesome! I would like to know what happened to Dan. And lastly, no more subtle references to Lucas and/or Peyton. Give me something concrete not just, "O we can use Lucas' house, he said it was alright." That's my thoughts. Post what you thought of this past episode and what you're looking forward to for the future.

Episode 13 - "Weeks Go By Like Days"

All right guys, first episode back after the six week hiatus. The wait was long, however the weekly One Tree Hill podcast with Denise Gideon helped ease the pain. So now we’re back , and I must say, it was a great returning episode. So let me get this out right from the start, Taylor Is Awesome!! I loved Taylor in Season 2, and it seems like she is the same girl she was back then. I must say though, her showing up was a little random, and came with absolutely no explanation at all, but that’s something us OTH fans have learned to accept. Whatever the case is, she is back and causing drama within the first five minutes of her screen time. My real question in all of this is, “Why would David come to live in his ex-sister-in-law’s house, where his ex-wife also lives, after just getting divorced?” My own thoughts, Taylor and Dave are in cahoots, and are trying to get Quinn back. For my own sake, I hope they fail! I’m definitely a huge Quinn and Clay fan, and want them to stay together. Yes their relationship is very cheesy at times, like when Quinn takes a picture of two random people kissing and sends it to Clay, but they are still cute. I will say however, for a first episode back, these two got way to much screen time, and totally jacked Haley and Nathan. I think Nathan had three scenes, comprising of about six minutes of total time. Haley did good though, singing that is. And her scenes with Quinn and Brooke were very nice. Okay, as for Brooke, Julian, and Alex: I still feel 100% that Brooke and Julian need to be together. (The only other person I would suggest for Brooke would be... Mouth. He has liked her since Season 2, and he is the perfect guy that would never break her heart.) Here is what needs to take place: Brooke needs to realize that Julian is a guy, and a clueless guy at that. It’s clear that he is in love with her, not Alex. She needs to forgive him for acting like a jerk, even if he doesn’t think he is. Julian, on the other hand, needs to wake up! Seriously bro, if you “love” someone, you no to go full force chasing after that person. Don’t be hanging around some chick who has admitted to having feelings for you! I think both of them need to realize their wrongs, and fix it. As for Alex, I will say she seems like she is making a complete turn around. I’m not completely sure she still has the same feelings for Julian she had before the break, but then again, they could still be there, but they are not coming out as outlandishly as they were when she was on drugs. Whatever the case, she is acting like a great friend for Millicent. Now that girl really needs to get her life worked out. Really Milli? Be the girl that Mouth needs; the girl that didn’t care about fame, parties, or drugs. Everyone is putting their butts on the line for you, and you are just letting each person down. Now, Victoria, the former queen of the underworld, is even trying to help you out. Stop the drugs, take the job (as an assistant), and get back with Mouth. Victoria is incredible! It’s crazy to think that just two seasons ago, most of us fans hated her with a passion; and now, she is making me laugh more than any other character on this show. Seriously, “coke-whore land” and “you must have mirrors to clean” had me laughing for a legit 5 minutes! Victoria has definitely grown on me; the way she is trying to help Brooke, Julian, and Mili is awesome. On a side note, in regards to the new guy Alexander, I’m indifferent. I haven't taken a strong liking to him, and I have nothing against him either. So, I will have to wait and see what he does to get a real feel for him. Where was Grandpa Dan? Guess we will have to wait and find out. So that’s my rant and rave on episode 13. Lots to love, lots to question. Overall it was a great episode back. I’m definitely thinking that the rest of Season 7 is going to be packed with greatness.

Welcome

Hey everyone! I'm a huge One Tree Hill fan, and decided it was time I start sharing my thoughts about each episode with people other than my wife, friends, and family. I don't want this to be a recap of the episode. If you're on this site, you have most likely scene the episode and saw what took place. I want to share my thoughts on characters, scenes, story lines, and whatever takes place in the episode. Please feel free to leave feedback. Anything you agreed with, disagreed with, picked up on that I missed, or just want to let other people know about. I'll also post updates during the week if anything interesting comes up. I hope you enjoy the Rant n Rave!
